Tom Maher, along with his twin brother Chris, was a member of Endicott’s first lacrosse team in 1996. Together they established the foundation of one of Endicott’s most successful teams. A prolific scorer, he established the record for goals in a game with 13. Tom ranked second in points in a season with 94 in 1998 and finished his career that year ranked third in NCAA Division III in points per game. Tom was hired by the Nassau County (N.Y.) police department after his junior year in ’98 and, as a testament to the Division III philosophy, completed his degree at Endicott in 2000.
