Jon Williams MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, CES begins his fifth year at Endicott as an Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Prior to Endicott, Williams spent two years as an assistant athletic trainer at UMass Lowell working primarily with the baseball and men’s soccer programs. Williams graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. He previously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer the University of Mississippi where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2012.
In addition to being a certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Williams is also a USA weightlifting sport performance coach, corrective exercise specialist and has taken courses in Active Release Techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and the Postural Restoration Institute. In the summer of 2016, Williams gave a presentation for Precision Athletic Training on Injury Prevention and Return to Play Considerations. He is also a contributor to the website hockeystrengthandconditioning.com. Williams is a preceptor for the undergraduate athletic training students. He is a member of the NATA and is a licensed athletic trainer by the Massachusetts Board of Health.
