BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country team has received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2023 season. In addition to the team award, Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine) and Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.) were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete list.

Endicott received USTFCCA All-Academic Team accolades for having all student-athletes on its roster who used a season of eligibility obtain at least a 3.10 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester.

The Gulls ranked 75th nationally, 13th in the East Region, and second overall in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) with a 3.48 team GPA.

Lehmann (engineering) and Nye (criminal justice) earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors for registering a GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale while finishing in the top-25 percent of the field at the NCAA Division III regional championship meet.

This is Lehmann's first career USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete award and Nye's second career honor.

At East Regionals earlier this fall, Lehmann claimed USTFCCCA All-Region Team accolades for his 35th place finish on the 8-kilometer course (25:54.95, personal best).

Nye also posted a personal best time on the 8-kilometer course in 26:28.55 (51st overall).
