Men’s Cross Country Places Fourth At CCC Championship

WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott men's cross country team finished fourth overall at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday afternoon, hosted by Gordon College.

Roger Williams won its third straight CCC title with 42 points, ranking ahead of Suffolk (57), Gordon (90), Endicott (98), Wentworth (120), the University of New England (180), Nichols (182), Western New England (200), and Curry (294).

Individually, Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine) and Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.) both earned CCC All-Conference honors for finishing inside the top-15 at the meet.

Lehmann crossed the finish line in third place (26:23.9) on the 8-kilometer course, while Nye was seventh overall (26:36.0). Both were personal best times for the duo.

The remainder of Endicott's top-5 consisted of Connor Coffin (Scarborough, Maine), Cooper Downey (Hudson, N.H.), and Andrew Lauzon (North Andover, Mass.). The trio ranked 23rd (28:04.1), 25th (28:12.2), and 40th (29:40.1), respectively.

The PRs, improvements, and program best finishes today are just a small reflection of how big this team's heart is," said Endicott men's cross country head coach Spencer Lange. "I'm so excited for the next few weeks gearing up towards regionals. This will be a great time together with the team. Our conference has become a force in the region and at the national level, so days like today always bring out the best in everyone."

Endicott will compete in the NCAA DIII East Regional Championship on Saturday, November 11 in Contoocook, N.H. (Hopkinson State Fair Grounds).
