BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team placed a program record five student-athletes on the 2017 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office earlier today.

To be eligible for the NECC Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a scale of 4.00 and must be a sophomore or higher in class standings.

NOTES

  • The Gulls' previous program record was three set back in 2014.
  • Endicott has been an associate member of the NECC since 2012.
  • The Gulls have won the last five conference championships, which marks the longest title streak in NECC men's volleyball history (first-year of competition came in 2009).
  • Endicott's five consecutive conference titles is also tied for the longest streak (active or not) in NECC men's athletics history. The Gulls are tied with the Lesley men's cross country team (2009-13) and the Regis men's tennis program (2013-17).
