MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Endicott College men's volleyball team wrapped up their four-game trip to Wisconsin by dropping the final two matches of the Wisconsin Invitational, 3-0, against the Milwaukee School of Engineering and 3-1 against Medaille College on Sunday. The Gulls return home 1-3 overall after defeating No. 5 ranked Carthage on Saturday evening for their lone win on the trip. Ben Foster (Penfield, N.Y.) led the Gulls with 74 assists in the two matches Sunday.

In the first match, the Gulls had the lead in the first set, 28-26, however the Raiders closed out the first set on a 4-0 run to take the game, 30-28. The Gulls would go on to lose the second set, 30-25, as the Gulls only held one lead in the set at 5-4. Unfortunately for the Gulls, the third set was more of the same as MSOE never trailed and won the deciding game, 30-24.

The Gulls were led by 11 kills each from A.J. Witkofsky (Scotia, N.Y.) and Jordan Durant (Honolulu, Hawaii). Ben Foster had 30 assists in the three games and Dan Coleman (Millis, Mass.) led the Gulls with 12 digs.

In the second match of the day, the Gulls would take the first set from Medaille, 30-24. The Gulls trailed early, but took the lead back at 6-5 and never looked back to take the early 1-0 lead. The second game would not go Endicott's way however as Medaille came back from a 21-12 deficit to come back and beat the Gulls 30-28. Medaille would carry the momentum into the final two games as they took the last two sets, 30-25 and 30-23.

Witkofsky led the Gulls in kills again as he had a game-high 20. Ben Foster dished out another 44 assists while Dan Coleman led the team with 17 digs.

The Blue and Green return to the court when they travel to Chicopee, Mass. for a NECVA conference matchup with Elms College at 7:00 p.m.
