BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Curry, 8-1, in conference action on Thursday evening at the South Campus Courts.
Endicott swept doubles play and never looked back in the match.
George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.) / Will Bierwirth (Hingham, Mass.) earned an 8-1 win at No. 2, Julian Richtarich (Naples, Fla.) / Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.) claimed an 8-2 triumph at No. 1, and Michael Fowler (Tewksbury, Mass.) / Zachary Lane (Rutland, Vt.) completed the sweep at No. 3 (8-5).
From there, Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) gave the Gulls a 4-0 lead at No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-0), while Pope clinched the match at No. 2 (6-1, 6-1).

"We handled business today. It didn't always look pretty, but wins aren't given for style points," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We learned a lot from today's match and will use this momentum tomorrow against Coast Guard."
