Men’s Tennis Turns Away Salve Regina, 6-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team bested Salve Regina, 6-3, in conference action on Wednesday evening at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

After falling behind 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles, the Gulls responded with four straight victories in singles to come away with the crucial league victory.

Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) tied up the match at 2-2 with a decisive 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

From there, Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3, Julian Richtarich (Naples, Fla.) posted a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 2, and Brayden Allen (North Kingstown, R.I.) clinched the match at No. 4 via a 6-1, 6-4

"We played a strong match today," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We had a lot of offensive opportunities and are continuing to improve with our execution. The belief across the roster feels like it's growing."

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Allen is undefeated at No. 4 singles (2-0).
  • Richtarich and Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.) improved to 3-0 at No. 2 doubles with their 8-1 triumph today.
