Men's Soccer Falls To Connecticut College, 1-0

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Endicott men's soccer team lost to Connecticut College, 1-0, on Tuesday evening at Jean C. Tempel Field.

The lone goal of the game was scored by Jake Creus (Rye, N.Y) at the 42:27 mark via a feed from Augie Djerdjaj (Mahopac, N.Y.).

From there, both teams tightened up defensively as the second half only featured one shot on goal (Conn. College, 61:37).

Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) compiled five saves in goal (1-2-1 overall on the season) to highlight the Gulls.

BEYOND THE BOX

  • Conn. College is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches national poll.  
  • The Camels have won three matches in a row (1-0 at home).
  • Regulbuto has 16 saves on the year (sixth in the CCC).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (1-3-2) will be back on the road when it visits Wentworth (4-3) this Saturday, September 25 at 3 PM. Connecticut College (3-1) continues its homestand against Amherst (3-1) on Saturday, September 23.
