Endicott Drops First Contest Of 2015 Season To Plymouth State, 23-15

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Endicott men's club rugby team traveled to CCRC rival Plymouth State over the weekend and suffered its first loss of the 2015 season. Despite a second half surge by the Gulls the Leopards were able to hold on to the lead for a 23-15 victory.

"We came out a bit slow at the beginning and they took advantage of that" said Endicott men's rugby head coach Bob Ryman. "They are a great team with big physical players and they made it challenging to get the ball to our backs".

The Gulls were led by sophomore Mavrick MacEachern (Manchester, Mass.) and junior Matt Doyle  (Hingham, Mass.) along with seniors Brian Sussingham (Yonkers, N.Y.) and Ryan Stanek (Cheshire, Conn.).

Suffering their first loss of the season the Gulls now sit at 3-1 overall as they prepare to travel to Newport, R.I. for a CCRC matchup against Salve Regina on October 17 at 1:00 p.m.
