Kurapov Named To NEWHA Division III Men's All-Star Team

BEVERLY, Mass. – For the second time in his career, senior forward Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) has been selected to the New England Hockey Writers Association's (NEHWA) Division II/III Men's All-Star Team.

In 28 games played this season, Kurapov compiled 11 goals (3 GWG, 4 PPG) and 20 assists for 31 points.

He also finished the year with a +11 plus/minus rating while setting new career-highs both assists and power-play goals.

Among his NCAA Division III peers, Kurapov concluded the season ranked No. 37 in assists per game (0.71), No. 22 in game-winning goals, and No. 41 in points per game (1.11).

Kurapov is the fourth athlete in program history to be named to the NEWHA All-Star team twice in his career joining Logan Day, Conor O'Brien, and Ross Olsson.

Kurapov's postseason awards from this season now include Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Year honors, All-CCC First Team accolades, CCM/AHCA All-America East Second Team laurels, and was a finalist for the Joe Concannon award. 

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott posted a 17-6-5 overall record and a 12-3-3 conference mark this past season. The Gulls captured their second consecutive CCC Championship and fourth in program history as they advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Endicott fell to Elmira 5-2 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and finished 14th in the final USCHO Poll of the year.
