No. 10 Men's Ice Hockey Ties No. 14 Salve Regina, 2-2

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 10 Endicott men's ice hockey team tied No. 14 Salve Regina, 2-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Friday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Pa.) got the scoring started less than three minutes into the contest as he was fed by Jackson Sterrett (Hendersonville, Tenn.). Salve Regina would respond to tie the game at 1-1, which was how the score would remain going into the first intermission.

After a scoreless second period in which both teams had opportunities, the Seahawks would take their first lead of the contest at the 6:50 mark of the third period. The Gulls would tie the game halfway through the final period at two apiece courtesy of a Sterrett goal assisted by Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.) and Kurapov.

The teams would trade chances with the period winding down but neither were able to find a winner as the game headed to overtime.

In the extra session, both teams squandered opportunities that led to a shoot-out.

In goal, Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) stopped a career-high 42 shots in the contest (2-1-2).
