Endicott Finishes Third at UNE Invitational

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine - The Endicott golf team finished third at the University of New England (UNE) Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Cape Arundel Golf Club.

Leading the way for the Gulls was junior Samuel Goldstein (Providence, R.I.) as he finished tied for sixth individually. Goldstein posted a round of +6, 75 on the par 69, 5,859 yard course. The junior fired a 38 on the front nine before closing with a 37 on the back nine.

Tying for eighth individually was sophomore Frank Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) finished with a round of 76, shooting a 37 on the front nine before closing with a 39 on the back. Kyle Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) finished just behind his brother, logging a score of +8, 77.

Junior Clark Brown (Stowe, Vt.) finished 14th with a score of 80, while junior Maxwell Leyland (West Hartford, Conn.) finished tied for 16th with a round of 84. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls now turn their focus to the prestigious NEIGA Championships this weekend. The Championship will be held at the Captains Golf Club in Brewster, Mass. this Saturday and Sunday.
