D3BASEBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. —Sophomore Michael DeDonato (Chelmsford, Mass.) of the Endicott baseball team has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week as announced today by D3Baseball.com.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fifth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week.

In the Team of the Week's fifth edition of the 2016 season, DeDonato posted a .700/.727/1.000 slash line to go along with seven hits (10 at-bats), four runs, one home run, three RBI, one walk, and two stolen bases in a 2-1 week for the Gulls for games played between March 7 and March 13.

DeDonato's week was highlighted by his single-game performance in game one of a doubleheader against Franklin & Marshall on March 13 in Winter Haven, Fla., as the leadoff batter went 4-for-4 with two runs scored, one home run, three RBI and a stolen base for the Gulls.

DeDonato smacked his first career home run with a solo shot to left in the top of the second and continued his hot hitting with a two-RBI single to right in the top of the fourth as the Gulls cruised to an 11-3 win over the Diplomats to open their spring break trip in the win column.
