"The opportunity to continue to play baseball at a higher level is every college player's dream. Harry is getting to live that dream in a truly amazing part of the world," said Haley. "I'm extremely proud of Harry. It takes a lot of courage to fly half way around the globe to live in and to explore a new culture. He will be rewarded for that courage as he will have one of the best experiences of his life, both on and off of the field."

As a member of the Endicott baseball team, Oringer posted a career slash line of .323/.434/.452 alongside 146 runs, 207 hits (32 doubles, 12 triples, nine home runs), 126 RBI, 85 walks, 46 stolen bases and a .971 fielding percentage (327 po, 540 assists) in 186 games (all starts).
