BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's soccer senior forward Grace Jewett (Millis, Mass.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Jewett was an offensive force in Endicott's 1-1-0 (1-0-0 CNE) campaign last week. She notched a total of six shots (five on goal; .833 shot on goal percentage) and drilled two goals on the week.
In Endicott's 4-1 loss to No. 25 nationally ranked Tufts last Tuesday, the senior attempted one shot for the Gulls.
She led the Gulls to a 3-0 bounce back home win against Wentworth on Saturday afternoon, as she potted two goals on five total shots (all on net) in the convincing conference victory. The two-goal outing was her second career multi-goal game for the Blue and Green.
This is Jewett's first career CNE Offensive Player of the Week award.
