NORTON, Mass. - The Endicott women's soccer team fell to Wheaton (Mass.) 3-2 in non-conference action on Wednesday evening. The loss drops Endicott's record to 4-2 overall, while Wheaton improves to 3-1-2 on the season.

The Gulls jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Jaymie Caponigro (Swampscott, Mass.) scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 24th minute. The tally would be the only goal of the half as Endicott keeper Kayla Wentworth (Taunton, Mass.) made four stops in the opening 45 minutes of play to keep the Gulls ahead 1-0 at halftime.

Endicott would then extend the lead to 2-0 when Hannah Pesci (Windham, N.H.) chipped a shot over the Lyons' keeper in the 48th minute of play.

Wheaton was then able to turn the tables, striking for three goals in a 14-minute stretch to secure the 3-2 victory.
