Why Endicott? Why Division III?

Chose Endicott because I felt at home here the minute I stepped foot on campus... It has truly proved to be a home away from home... EC had the educational program I wanted to pursue, as well as a competitive varsity soccer team to play on... I couldn't wait to be a Gull!

Career Summary

2015: Senior season at Endicott... Played in 17 games with three starts... Made three goals... Had 13 shots, eight of them being on net 

2014: Played in 17 matches with five starts as a junior... Netted three goals and had one assist

2013: Played in five matches as a sophomore before breaking her collarbone in a Sept. 14, 2013 match against Smith College that caused her to miss the rest of the CCC Championship-winning season

2012: Appeared in 17 matches with two goals and one assist as a freshman... Scored her first career goal in an 8-0 win over Wentworth on Oct. 24, 2012 in which she netted two goals on the day

Professional Aspirations

Completed an internship with All-Access Fitness Academy in Winter 2014 where she spent 120 hours in the gym observing fitness professionals and designed and taught a group exercise class... Completed an internship with Greendale Physical Therapy in Winter 2013 where she spent 120 hours in the clinic observing and assisting patients while they worked through rehabilitation programs... Aspires to transfer into the field of Veterinary Medicine... Looking to combine her knowledge of Exercise Science and animals with an internship in a facility that does physical and aquatic therapy for dogs... Sees her future self as a veterinarian living with a husband and their three kids and bunny, Kenny, and cat, Misty

Madison on her internship experiences:

"Through both of my internships I learned that I did want to be in some sort of health-related field because helping people is something I aspire to do in life."

Volunteered while at Endicott for Project Bread's Walk for Hunger 2015... Endicott Acceptance Day Tours 2015...Volunteered for Relay for Life 2013-2015... HAWC Walk 2014... Painted faces for children at a Beverly Elementary School silent auction in 2014... Polar Plunge 2013... In high school, she volunteered at Pink Games for Breast Cancer 2008-2011... Jump Rope for Healthy Hearts 2012... Retreat Leader 2010-2011... Relay for Life 2009-2010

Madison on her volunteer work with Relay for Life:

"Relay for Life has been a very touching experiene for both myself and my team because we have teammates who have lost parents to cancer... It felt great to give back and celebrate those people who blessed us with these amazing teammates."

Fun Facts

Her father, Jim, played soccer at Ithaca College... Her mother, Kathy, played field hockey at St. Mary's University... Her sister, Megan, is an accomplished equestrian rider and captained the Shrewsbury FH team to the State Finals for 2012...  Enjoys waterskiing... Madison ran track for Shrewsbury High where she finished top 4 in the Class A 4x200 relay in the State for 2012
