NECC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – For the sixth time this season, Endicott freshman Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league yesterday.

Lipton guided Endicott to a 2-0 week from March 27 to April 2 as the freshman outside notched 3.33 kills/per set, a .600 hitting percentage, one assist, a service ace, and eight digs (2.67 d/s) in victories over Lesley and Southern Vermont. Those two against Lesley and Southern Vermont also helped Endicott lock up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NECC men's volleyball tournament.

So far this year, Lipton has garnered NECC Rookie of the Week accolades on the following dates: 1/30, 2/13, 3/6, 3/13, 3/27, and 4/3. Lipton also has been named the NECC Player of the Week three times (2/13, 3/13, 3/27).

Endicott (18-9, 11-0 NECC) hosts New York University on Friday at 5 PM and Regis on Saturday at 3 PM as part of Senior Weekend.
