BRIGHTON, Mass. – The No. 8 Endicott field hockey team defeated Simmons, 7-1, on Wednesday night at the Daly Field Athletic Complex.
Reagan Hicks (Barnstable, Mass.) scored twice to highlight the non-conference victory.
Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.), Lily Farnham (Andover, Mass.), Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.), Sabrina Brunet (South Burlington, Vt.), and Abby Antonelli (Worcester, Mass.) also found the back of the cage for the Gulls.
In goal, Faith Minickene (Madison, Conn.) stopped five shots in 45 minutes of action to push her record to 15-1 on the year (26-3 career).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Tonight's matchup was the first-ever meeting between the programs.
- The Gulls extended their winning streak to a program record 16 straight games.
- It also marks the longest active winning streak in Division III.
- Antonelli finished the contest with one goal and an assist (second time this season).
- Emma Wilichoski (Danvers, Mass.) notched her sixth career assist (Antonelli's goal).
