INDUCTION CEREMONY SPEECH

Kevin Lally was a four-year member of the Endicott men’s lacrosse program from 2003-06. Lally, who graduated in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Endicott, currently works as a regional manager for Oracle and resides in Chester, N.H.

A four year All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) honoree, Lally was named CCC Rookie of the Year in 2003 and then went on to earn CCC Offensive Player of the Year awards in 2005 and 2006. Lally also earned USILA All-American Honorable Mention accolades in 2006 to cap his senior season.

Lally, who served as a captain during his senior year, still holds a myriad of Endicott records and still is near the top of the NCAA record books as well. For Endicott men’s lacrosse’s all-time records, Lally still ranks first in points (353), assists (271) and assists per game (3.76), in addition to holding the single-season record for points (99), assists (77 in 2006), and assists per game (4.56 in 2005).

The Derry, N.H. native currently holds numerous positions in the NCAA DIII men’s lacrosse record books for career assists (2^nd), assists per game (2^nd) points (5^th) and points per game (22^nd), while also holding spots in the single-season record books for assists (4^th , 8^th and 19^th), assists per game (10^th), and points (11^th and 12^th).  Lally earned NCAA Statistical Champion awards in 2003 (Assists), 2005 (Assists & Assists per Game), and 2006 (Assists, Assists Per Game & Points).

The Gulls were equally as successful as a team during his tenure, winning three consecutive CCC titles from 2004-06. With the CCC titles came three NCAA DIII Tournament appearances, including the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win, which was an 11-10 decision over Keene State. During the 2003-06 stretch, Endicott posted an overall record of 54-22 (.711) and a perfect conference record of 32-0 as 32 student-athletes earned All-CCC honors, 14 All-Region honors and two All-American distinctions.
