Nathan Burnett was one of Endicott’s best and most versatile baseball players. He was a dominant pitcher, hitter and outfielder. As a power pitcher, he threw 209 career innings with a 2.93 ERA and became the career strikeout leader with 203. He also set the single-game strikeout record with 19 against Worcester State in 1999. His pitching performance (8 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 7 K) against New England’s number one team, Bridgewater State, in the 2000 NCAA Regional Tournament, solidified Endicott’s growing reputation as one of the region’s best programs.
