NATIONAL CHAMPS! Women’s Rugby Tops Lee In Final Moments To Capture NCR Small College National Title

BODYS, Md. – The No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated Lee University, 15-10, in the final moments of the matchup on Saturday afternoon to capture the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Small College 7s National Championship at the Maryland SoccerPlex.

Endicott's (24-2-1) road to winning the NCR Small College National Championship included victories over Colby (5-0), South Dakota (22-0), and York (24-7, semifinals).

Today's win marks the sixth club varsity national title in Endicott Athletics history and the second for the women's rugby program (2022 15s).

Grace Kenkel (Brunswick, Maine) was named the NCR Small College National Championship Most Valuable Player (MVO) for her defensive efforts and leadership throughout the tournament.
