BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott softball senior pitcher Jaylin Couto (Taunton, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Couto was a vital part of the Gulls' extra innings 4-3 road victory in Sunday's doubleheader at Wentworth.
She pitched a complete game, going eight innings and yielding six hits, three runs, one earned, and one walk alongside eight strikeouts.
This is Couto's fifth career CCC Pitcher of the Week award (5/2/22, 5/9/22, 3/20/23, 4/24/23).
