Kasprzak Earns College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's volleyball student-athlete Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) has received Academic All-America® Second Team honors, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly CoSIDA.

Kasprzak is the first student-athlete in program history to earn CSC Academic All-America® accolades. He also is the only student-athlete from the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) represented among the 47 award winners.

Student-athletes are nominated by their Sports Information Director (SID), must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA), and be a starter or important reserve on their team.

Twenty thousand nominations are received annually across all sports in each NCAA and NAIA division.

All nominees receive Academic All-District® recognition and advance to the national ballot where CSC members vote on the Academic All-America® teams within their division (1,500 selections annually).

Kasprzak recently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Endicott with a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA). 

Along with his academic duties, Kasprzak served as the Graduate Assistant for The Angle Center for Entrepreneurship over the last academic year.

Kasprzak was responsible for student outreach and recruitment for educational programs, facilitated and promoted conferences and events on campus, seemed and facilitated investor interest to meet financial goals, and served as the leader of the Entrepreneurship Club.

He also posted a 3.94 GPA as an undergraduate in the Business Management program.

Kasprzak's experiential learning opportunities at the College include co-founding Launch Partners, LLC (managing partner, new business sales) and an internship with Brandywine Technical Partners (information technology/technician) among many other experiences.

For Launch Partners, LLC, Kasprzak secured 15 clients across 12 industries all while completing his degrees. He helped create a voter education campaign and a health services guerrilla marketing campaign alongside fostering new business developments and marketing strategies.

Academically, Kasprzak is a two-time CSC All-District selection, a multiple Dean's List honoree, a 3x NECC Academic All-Conference award winner, the 2022 NECC Senior Scholar-Athlete and the 2023 Endicott Senior Scholar-Athlete.

His athletic honors include one American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Northeast All-Region selection, two NECC Defensive Player of the Year awards, 2023 NECC Player of the Year accolades, 2020 NECC Rookie of the Year laurels, and four NECC All-Conference citations.

Kasprzak played 74 matches in a Gulls' uniform totaling 235 sets played, 448 kills (1.91 k/s), a .366 hitting percentage, 94 digs, 193 total blocks (0.82), and 583.5 points (2.5 pts/s).


YEAR IN REVIEW

The Gulls went 14-10 overall and 8-0 in league play before falling to Nichols in the conference championship, 3-1.
