Wentworth Bests Men’s Volleyball, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team lost to Wentworth, 3-1, by scores of 15-25, 20-25, 27-25, and 18-25 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Tansey Gymnasium.

Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) led the Gulls offensively with 16 kills (tied season-high), two service aces, and six digs.

Spencer Capps (Lake Bluff, Ill.) chipped in with nine putaways and five block assists, while Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) produced seven to round out the attack.

Gabe DeBenedetto (Rockford, Ill.) facilitated the offense via 36 assists.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 24-12 all-time in the series, despite the loss.
  • Wentworth has won the last three meetings.
  • The Leopards pushed their winning streak to three straight and are now 4-1 at home this season.
  • Wentworth started the year ranked No. 3 overall in the country.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (1-5) hosts Elms on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 PM. Wentworth (7-6) welcomes Rivier to its campus on Saturday, February 25 at 11 AM.
