Box Score

BEVERLY, MA - Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) and Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) tallied five of the Gulls first six goals as EC rolled to a 26-12 win over Salve Regina University.

The Seahawks responded to the Gulls six goal barrage with back-to-back goals from Ben Kelley (Lee, NH/Oyster River) and Ryan Doherty (Newton, MA/Proctor Academy) to pull within four, at 6-2 with three minutes left in the frame. That would be as close as Salve would get, however, as the Gulls added two more goals in the closing minutes of the quarter to take an 8-2 lead. The first quarter has been one of the Gulls strong suits as they have now outscored opponents 58-24 in the first 15 minutes.

Endicott rattled off another eight goals to start the second period, racing out to a 16-2 lead. Endicott took a 19-5 advantage into the half time break after exploding for 11 goals in the second quarter.

The Blue and Green were led by Gilbert's eight goals, all of which came in the first half. Brandon Dube added four goals and four assists while Brad Lipkivich (Madison, CT/Avon Old Farms) tallied two goals and Nick Cosco finished the night with a goal and three assists.

Endicott has played its way to a first round bye in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament after compiling a perfect 8-0 record in CCC play. They return to action on Thursday afternoon in the tournament semifinals, that Game is slated to start at 4:00pm. Endicott has also earned home field advantage with their first place, regular season finish in the CCC.
