BEVERLY, MA - The Endicott College men's lacrosse team returned to the win column on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Camels of Connecticut College, 16-9 in a non-conference match-up in Beverly, MA.

The Gulls got on the board less than a minute into regulation as Dan Ryan (Billerica, MA/Billerica) found the top right corner on a hard bounce shot to give the home team a 1-0 lead. Connecticut College fired back with consecutive goals from Steve Dachille (Garden City, NY/Garden City) to shift the lead over to the Camels.

The Blue and Green wasted no time in regaining their early advantage, connecting on five unanswered goals to grab a 6-2 lead. The Camels refused to go quietly, netting three straight in a span of under three minutes to pull back within one at 6-5. Tallies from Nick Cosco (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry) and Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) with a Matt Flanagan (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) goal mixed in closed out the first half, sending the Gulls into the intermission with a narrow 8-6 lead.

Endicott put the game away in the third quarter, rattling off a 5-0 run to push their lead to 13-6. Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) opened the scoring in the third as he took a feed from Patrick Gaffney (Worcester, MA/St. John's) on an end-to-end rush to put the Gulls up 9-6. Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, MA/Beverly) notched a pair of goals, complimented by strikes from Josh Gilbert and Joe Gugino (West Hartford, CT/Conard) to close out the third.

Connecticut College and Endicott each tallied three apiece in the closing quarter, with the goal that broke the Camels back coming from Dube on a nifty cross-crease feed from Dan Ryan, putting Endicott up 15-8 with 5:32 left to play. The Gulls would close out the game by burying a man-down goal to take the 16-9 non-conference win.

Endicott was led by Nick Cosco's four goals and one assist for a team-high five points. Brandon Dube scored three goals while teammate Eddie O'Reilly connected on a pair of scores and dished out two assists in the win. Goaltender Sean Kearney (Mahopac, NY/Mahopac) had another strong game between the pipes, turning in 15 saves, many of which came on the crease.

Connecticut College's Steve Dachille led the Camels with three goals and two assists. Sean Driscoll (Peabody, MA/Pomfret School) was Connecticut's other offense threat, scoring three and assisting on another. The Camels Mark Moran (Greenwich, CT/Brunswick School) notched 21 saves in the loss.

Endicott returns to action on Tuesday afternoon as they clash with North Shore rival Gordon College. Endicott and Gordon are the only two remaining unbeaten CCC teams left in the Conference. The Gulls and the Fighting Scotts face-off at 4:00 PM in Wenham, MA.
