BEVERLY, MA - The Endicott College men's lacrosse team used a 10 goal second half surge to cruise past Curry College, 13-2, on Friday afternoon in a frigid Commonwealth Coast Conference game in Beverly, MA. The win marks Endicott's seventh straight and moves the Gulls to 8-1 (4-0 in the CCC) on the season.

The first half was a low scoring affair, as each team stood strong defensively. Endicott's Nick Cosco (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry) got the Gulls started with an unassisted tally at 10:15 of the first quarter to put Endicott up 1-0. Curry answered back with a strike from Ryan Rooney (Newton, MA), as the junior attackman beat Sean Kearney (Mahopac, NY/Mahopac) off-stick high for his 24th of the season, knotting the game at 1-all. Back-to-back goals by EC's Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) closed the first and opened the second quarters, giving the Gulls a 3-1 lead.

The two goal advantage was all Endicott could muster over the first thirty-minutes of play, as Curry netminder Alex MacMillian (Framingham, MA) single handedly kept the Colonels in the game. The junior goalkeeper turned aside shot after shot, most memorably a multiple save effort on point blank attempts on the crease to send his team into the halftime break down 3-1.

Endicott came out soaring in the second half, as the Blue and Green continued to pepper the Curry cage. The Gulls erupted for 10 goals over the next two quarters, securing a 13-2 Commonwealth Coast Conference victory. Endicott's Nick Cosco scored notched two more goals in the second half while Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) found the back of the net on three separate occasions over the final thirty-minutes of action.

Brandon Dube finished the day with four goals and an assist while Nick Cosco netted three goals and handed out three helpers for a game-high six points. The Gulls held a dominating edge in shots (58-18), ground balls (55-19), and face-offs (13-of-17) in the winning effort. Curry goaltender Alex MacMillian finished the day with 25 saves.

Endicott returns to action on Wednesday evening as they travel to Medford, MA to take on the nations 5th ranked team, Tufts University. The Gulls and the Jumbos face-off at 7:00 PM.
