Preseason Opens Today For Endicott Student-Athletes

Aug. 21, 2006

BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College's fall sports teams return to campus Monday August 21, 2006. More than 255 student athletes representing men's and women's soccer, field hockey, women's volleyball, women's tennis, men's and women's cross country and football (which arrived last Friday) to begin their respective preseason camps.

Endicott has been extremely successful in the CCC, especially during the fall season. As student-athletes return to campus for the preseason, hard work, determination and team work are the focus of every EC head coach.

The women's soccer team captured its third consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference titles while men's soccer, women's volleyball, women's tennis and field hockey all made deep runs into the CCC playoffs. Men's golf took fourth place at the CCC Championships and the men's and women's cross country teams both finished fifth at the CCC Meet.
