We leave the 2004-2005 school year with many everlasting memories. The accomplishments of this year's team are attributed to consistent hard work and resilience of each individual. As we reflect upon our accomplishments, we are proud of the level that the program has risen to, and we anticipate the upcoming school year with enthusiasm.
Cheerleading made history this year after the successful completion the first football cheerleading squad at Endicott. The team of 18 girls was adorned in new warm-up suits and pom pons, and had the highest number of participants since the squad originated in 1998. They finished off the football season with a second place finish at the Titan All-Star Winter Warm-Up held at Westfield State College in December. Competing during the winter season was also a first for the Endicott squad. The team was lead by co-captains Hallie Weeden (Sr., Stratham, NH) and Brandy Iller (Jr., Candia, NH).
The basketball season brought some new life to the team with the addition of Katelyn Twomey (So., Amesbury, MA) and transfer students Amanda Dube (So., Londonderry, NH) and Kelley Valliancourt (So., Londonderry, NH). The team worked to improve their competition routine, adding new stunts, and increasing their gymnastic level. Their hard work paid off in April when they competed against eight teams and took a tie for fourth place at the New England Cheer & Dance Challenge held at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. The team was also one of the top fundraisers for the Relay for Life at Endicott, raising \$2500 for the American Cancer Society. The team wishes farewell to one senior, captain, Hallie Weeden.
The upcoming 2005-2006 looks optimistic for the cheerleading program. As the program continues to grow, the level of talent increases as well as the level of skill and difficulty. With only one senior leaving the team, the strength and experience of the returning members will play an important role in the success of next year's squad.
