BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's cross country team has earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2022 season. In addition to the team award, Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete list.

Endicott received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team accolades for having all student-athletes on its roster who used a season of eligibility obtain at least a 3.10 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester.

The Gulls ranked third in the East Region and 23rd nationally among 189 women's programs with a 3.79 GPA.

Meanwhile, Shepard garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors for registering a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finishing in the top-25 percent of the field at the NCAA Division III regional championship meet.

Shepard is the first student-athlete in program history to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors.

She is a double major (expressive arts therapy/psychology) with a minor in dance.

At the NCAA Division III East Regional Championship last fall (11/12/22), Shepard led the Gulls with a 40th place finish on the 6-kilometer course (23:38.3, personal best) among 243 entrants.

Her finish was only five spots shy of claiming All-Region honors (top-35).
