BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Endicott women's cross country team capped off its 2018 season with a 29th place finish out of 57 teams at the NCAA Division III Regionals on Saturday morning at Bowdoin College.
MIT won the meet for the third year in a row with 87 points, while Middlebury (108), Williams (115), Brandies (136), and Tufts (159) finished in respective order to round out the top-5.
For Endicott, sophomore Emma Farrington (Essex County, Vt.) highlighted the Gulls day by completing the six-kilometer course in 24:19.20 to place 128th overall. Aleah MacKay (Bedford, N.H.) was the next Endicott runner to cross the line in 157th place at 24:39.24, while Hannah Mason (Deerfield, N.H.) was third for the Gulls in 24:58.62 (182nd).
Following Mason were Abigail Keim (Williston, Vt.), 25:24.90 (216th overall), Laura Pomeroy (Windham, N.H.), 219th place (25:26.85), Emma Johnson (Reading, Mass.), 290th place (26:55.01), and Gabrielle Rabito (Woburn, Mass), 294th place (27:02.70), to round out Endicott's top-7 runners.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Today's 29th place finish marked the best finish in program history since 2007 (26th place).
- It also marks Endicott's 4th finish inside the top-30 at NCAA Division III Regionals in program history (2002 -29 | 2003 -29 | 2007 - 26 | 2018 - 29).

"The women ran a great race today to cap off the season," said Endicott women's cross country coach Spencer Lange. "It was a special sendoff for the seniors with the best team finish in more than 10 years. The coaching staff is very proud of their efforts over the last four years. The returners also got some very valuable experience out there which will be huge for the future development of this team."
