Post Season Awards Continue to Roll In For Women's Soccer

BEVERLY, Mass.-  Two members of Endicott's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship women's soccer team garnered a total of three more individual awards yesterday as Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) and Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) continued to receive more recognition for their roles in the team's stellar season.  Donnelly, Person and the rest of the team won the CCC title and advanced to the NCAA second round with their 1-0 win over Scranton before falling to eventual national semifinalist Middlebury 2-1.

Both Donnelly and Person received NEWISA 2013 All-New England Division III honors following their individual seasons.  Donnelly, a junior goal keeper, was named to the Second Team while Person, a senior defender, was named to the third team.  For Donnelly, this award completes a season in which she was named to the All-CCC First Team as well as the NSCAA Third Team All-New England.

In addition, Person was named to the 2013 NSCAA College Division Women's Scholar All-East Region third team for her performance on the field as well as in the classroom where she boasts a 3.82 cumulative GPA as an Education major.  This award comes on the heels of Person's CCC Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year award as well as her All-CCC First Team nod.
