NCAA Selection Show to Reveal Women's Soccer's First Round Opponent at 1:30 PM

NCAA Fall Championship Selection Show - DIII Women's Soccer, 1:30 PM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Selection Show will reveal the First Round opponent for Endicott, who won the 2013 CCC Championship this past Saturday with a 0-0 (3-1 PK) victory over Gordon.  The live broadcast will begin at 1:30 pm on the NCAA website at the link at the top of the page.

The Gulls won their 10th conference title, their fifth under nine-year head coach Jodi Kenyon, and their first since the 2009 season on Saturday at Endicott Stadium.  The victory capped off a tremendous run through the end of the regular season and through the CCC Tournament that saw the Blue and Green win nine straight matches including victories over Curry (quarterfinals), Wentworth (semifinals), and Gordon (finals) in the playoffs.  Overall in 2013 Endicott has accumulated a 15-5-2 record, their 17th-straight double digit win season and their 10th with at least 15 wins.

Historically, Endicott has faired well in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament with five victories in nine appearances.  Those wins have come against SUNY Geneseo (2009), Nazareth (2008), Oneonta (2007), Union (2006), and Emmanuel (2003).  In 2006, Endicott made their deepest postseason run, advancing past Union in the First Round then beating Worcester State 1-1 (5-4 PK) to reach the "Sweet 16" where they eventually fell to Amherst, 1-0.
