  • Fifty-four Endicott Student-Athletes Named CCC Academic All-Conference

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced their Fall 2013 Academic All-Conference Team and Endicott was the leader of the pack with 54 honorees across seven first semester sports that included men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.

    BEVERLY, Mass.- The 2013 women’s soccer season started yet again with high hopes and expectations. Coaches around the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) pegged the team to finish second in their preseason poll behind bitter rival Roger Williams, and just ahead of cross-town rival Gordon. This senior class of Lexi Dussi (Boxford, Mass.), Allison Ferro (Shelton, Conn.), Nicole Fournier (Milford, Mass.), Madison Missinne (Ridgefield, Conn.), Heather Moody (Dustable, Mass.), Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) and Natalie Wyrsch (Dover, N.H.) had seen a great deal of success over their four year careers but had yet to get back to the top and claim the CCC title. Their fourth and final try would prove to be the one as they accomplished their goal with a certain flare for the dramatic.
  • Post Season Awards Continue to Roll In For Women's Soccer

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Two members of Endicott's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship women's soccer team garnered a total of three more individual awards yesterday as Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) and Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) continued to receive more recognition for their roles in the team’s stellar season. Donnelly, Person and the rest of the team won the CCC title and advanced to the NCAA second round with their 1-0 win over Scranton before falling to eventual national semifinalist Middlebury 2-1.
  • Sarah Person Earns Second All-Region Award with ECAC Nod

    CENTERVILLE, Mass. - After being named to the NSCAA New England All-Region Second Team back on December 4th, Endicott senior women's soccer defender Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) collected her second all-region award this season by being named to the ECAC Division III New England First Team. Person anchored a Gulls back line that delivered the program's 10th conference championship and sixth appearance into at least the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
  • Person and Donnelly Receive NSCAA All-Region Honors

    KANSAS CITY, Kan.- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released their 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women’s All-New England Region teams on Tuesday and two Endicott players received the annual honors. Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) and Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) both received the honors for the first time in their collegiate careers. The awards bring the total NSCAA All-Region honors to 15 all time for Endicott women’s soccer program.
  • Sarah Person Selected to NEWISA Senior Bowl

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's soccer defender Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) was selected to play in the 2013 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl game on Saturday, December 7th along with 21 other top student-athletes from across the region in NCAA Division III. Person finished in a three-way tie with defenders from Middlebury and Springfield as the top vote-getters at her position.
  • Women's Soccer Continues to Receive Honors; Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award

    KANSAS CITY, Kan.- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced their 2013 team Academic Award winners and for the fourth consecutive year the Endicott women's soccer program has received this distinction. The team, which has now received the award in six of the last seven seasons, put together a cumulative team Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.35.

    MIDDLEBURY, Vt.- In Sunday's NCAA DIII Women's Soccer Tournament second round match against Middlebury, Endicott ran into one of the stingiest defenses in the region and eventually fell 2-1 to end their NCAA run. The Gulls conclude the 2013 season with a 16-6-2 record overall, a regular and post season Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship and the program's 10th NCAA Tournament appearance.

    MIDDLEBURY, Vt.- Facing a Scranton team that was making their fourth straight NCAA DIII Championship appearance in four years, the Endicott women's soccer team rode their lone goal to victory as they defeated the Royals 1-0 on the campus of Middlebury College in the opening round of the NCAA tournament. With the win, Endicott now advances to face host Middlebury at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
  • Women's Soccer Set to Play Scranton in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The 64 team field for the 2013 DIII Women's Soccer Tournament was announced Monday and the Endicott women's soccer team drew the Royals of the University of Scranton in their opening round match. Endicott, 15-5-2 on the season, advanced to the NCAA tournament after winning the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title on Saturday. Scranton, 15-2-3, advanced by receiving an "At Large" bid. The Gulls and Royals will face off on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- After playing pivotal roles in helping the Endicott women's soccer team claim the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title, seniors Heather Moody (Dunstable, Mass.) and Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) have been named CCC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively. The Gulls now await the reveal of their NCAA tournament opponent which will be released today at 1:30 p.m.

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Heading into the Commonwealth Coast Championship (CCC) women’s soccer match, all signs signaled that this would be a match for the ages. Cross-town rivals? Check. Packed stadium with energetic fans from both fan bases? Check. A number one seed that had eked out two overtime victories to advance to the finals and a number three seed that had already pulled one upset and was hungry for another? This match had both of those as well. The championship match had all the drama one could imagine and lived up to its billing from the opening whistle as Endicott clinched its first CCC title since 2009 in perfect fashion, edging Gordon by a 3-1 advantage in penalty kicks after a 0-0 tie through all regulation and overtime periods.
  • Gulls Return to CCC Championship With 1-0 OT Win; Host Gordon Saturday at 1pm

    BEVERLY, Mass.- The #1 Endicott women’s soccer team is headed back to the championship after a one year hiatus after defeating #5 Wentworth 1-0 in overtime with just 20 seconds remaining on the clock. In the other semifinal match, #3 Gordon upset #2 Roger Williams to stage a cross-town show down for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship. In their lone meeting of the 2013 season, Endicott defeated Gordon 3-0 in the regular season finale for both teams. Endicott is now 15-5-1 on the season and reaches the 15 win plateau for the first team since 2010 with the win. The Gulls now advance to the championship match for the 12th time in the last 13 years.
  • Wysocki and Joseph Garner Weekly CCC Honors Following 2-1 OT Win Over Curry

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following standout efforts in a 2-1 overtime win in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals over the eighth seeded Curry, the top seeded Gulls saw Laura Wysocki (Somers, Conn.) and Jessica Joseph (Bedford, N.H.) receive weekly CCC honors after each picked up two points in the win. Wysocki, Joseph and the rest of the team square off against fifth seed Wentworth on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
  • Top Seeded Gulls Advance To Semifinals With 2-1 OT Victory Over Curry

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Heading into postseason play, regular season records are immediately thrown to the wayside. Anything can happen in single match elimination play and the #1 seeded Gulls of Endicott vs. the #8 seeded Colonels of Curry provided a fantastic match that ended up seeing the Gulls prevail 2-1 in overtime. The Gulls, who entered the match with a 13-5-1 (8-1-0) record on the season, needed a goal in the 77th minute to tie the match at 1-1 to force the extra frame in which they would go on to take home the victory. Curry, who entered the match with a 6-10-2 (1-7-1) record, gave Endicott all they could handle for the better part of the first half before Endicott would pull away in the second.
  • Two Major Honors Headline Eight Total Gulls on All-CCC Teams

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following a regular season that saw the team post an 8-1-0 record in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play and a 13-5-1 record overall, the Endicott Women’s Soccer team was honored with seven players on the All-CCC teams as well as head coach Jodi Kenyon who received CCC Coach of the Year honors for the third time in her nine year career at Endicott. Joining Kenyon on the major awards was Sarah Person (Holden, Mass.) who was named as the CCC Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year. Endicott, whose 8-1-0 record was tops in the conference, earned the top seed in the upcoming CCC tournament and will play eighth seeded Curry on Saturday at 1 p.m. Endicott tied with #2 Roger Williams with seven players on the All-CCC teams.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office released the 2013 Women's Soccer Tournament bracket this evening and the Gulls were named as the top seed following an 8-1-0 record in conference play. The Gulls will be in search of the program's ninth CCC title and 10th conference title overall. Endicott, 13-5-1 (8-1-0), will play host to Curry, 6-10-2 (1-7-1), on Saturday at 1p.m.

    BEVERLY, Mass.- In a matchup that pitted two teams with identical 7-1-0 records in conference play against each other, Endicott would emerge victorious as they took down bitter Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and cross town rival Gordon 3-0 on Tuesday evening. With the win, Endicott secures the top seed in the upcoming CCC Tournament as they improved to 13-5-1 (8-1-0) on the season. Gordon, who falls to 15-4-0 (7-2-0), will now wait for the result of tomorrow evening’s Roger Williams & Salve Regina matchup to see if they will be the two or the three seed.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- After notching her first career hat trick in the team's 8-1 win over UNE, freshman Jessica Joseph (Bedford, N.H.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week. The honor is the first of the season for Joseph and is the first Rookie of the Week award for the team.
  • Women’s Soccer Erupts for 8-1 Victory Over UNE Behind Joseph’s Hat Trick

    BIDDEFORD, Maine- With every Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup representing precious points in the standings this late in the season, the Gulls traveled to Maine to battle the Nor’Easters with every intention of coming out with a victory. After a second half offensive explosion, Endicott would travel home 8-1 winners, winners of their fifth straight match and more importantly, winners of their fifth straight CCC match. With the victory, Endicott improves to 12-5-1 (7-1) while UNE falls to 8-8-1 (4-3-1).

    BEVERLY, Mass.- On Wednesday evening against Nichols, the Endicott women’s soccer senior class added yet another win to their storied history as they defeated the Bison 1-0 behind the lone goal from Lexi Dussi (Boxford, Mass.) and a shutout performance from keeper Natalie Wyrsch (Dover, N.H.). With the win, Endicott improves to 11-5-1 overall and 6-1-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play while Nichols falls to 5-12-0 and 0-7-0 in CCC action.

Endicott is now 10-5-1 overall and 5-1-0 in CCC play.

    MILTON, Mass.- Behind an offensive effort that saw three different players register goals, Endicott defeated Curry 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Endicott, now 5-1 in CCC play, moves into possession of second place in the conference while Curry, who falls to 1-5, moves into eighth.

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Looking to continue the momentum created by Saturday’s offensive outburst over Salve Regina, Endicott welcomed the Lions of Eastern Nazarene to the Nest on Tuesday and were able to win 3-0. The Gulls used an impressive offensive performance to keep the Lions’ attack in check most of the night. With the win, Endicott improves to 9-5-1 overall and 4-1-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. Eastern Nazarene drops to 8-6-0 and 1-4-0 in CCC action.
  • Five Gulls Score, As They Shutout Salve Regina 5-0

    NEWPORT, R.I. – The Endicott women’s soccer team traveled to Salve Regina on Saturday afternoon for a conference matchup. Five different Gulls score in the contest as they shutout the Seahawks 5-0. Endicott now stands at 8-5-1, (3-1-0 CCC) while Salve falls to 2-10-1, (0-5-0 CCC).
  • Endicott Falls to Tufts 3-0 in Non-Conference Matchup

    BEVERLY, Mass.- The matchup between Endicott and Tufts on Tuesday night saw two teams entering the match having lost their previous contests by a goal. Tufts would prove to be too much for the Gulls to handle and would take down the Gulls 3-0. The Jumbos received a two goal effort from first year Jess Capone (Schenectady, N.Y.) while keeper Kristin Wright (Austin, Texas) would pitch a shutout to improve Tufts record to 5-4-0 on the season. With the loss, Endicott falls to 7-5-1 with a pivotal Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup on the horizon Saturday against Salve Regina.
  • Gulls Fall to Golden Bears 1-0 on Homecoming

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s soccer team hosted conference opponent Western New England for a homecoming matchup. Despite the 23 shots by Endicott, they were not enough as they fell to the Golden Bears 1-0. The Gulls move to 7-4-1, (2-1 CCC) while their opponents stand at 7-3-2, (2-1-1 CCC).
  • Geas Garners ECAC DIII New England Offensive Player of the Week Honors

    CENTERVILLE, Mass.- After winning Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week honors for her two game winning goals last week, Taylor Geas (Somers, Conn.) has now received ECAC DIII New England Offensive Player of the Week honors as well. This is the first ECAC award of the season for women's soccer and the first of Geas' career.
  • Geas and Donnelly Garner CCC Weekly Honors

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- For the second straight week, two Endicott players have been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week. This comes after goalkeeper Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) received defensive honors for the third straight week and Taylor Geas (Somers, Conn.) received offensive honors for the first time in her career. Both players’ performances were critical in helping extend Endicott’s win streak to seven as the team won three contests on the week. The Gulls started the week with a 2-1 overtime victory over Babson. That match was followed up with a 3-1 win over CCC foe Wentworth before Endicott then ended their week with a 2-0 win over Plymouth State on Sunday.
