Prisco Headlines Women’s Lacrosse All-CCC Award Winners

BEVERLY, Mass. – Ten members of the Endicott women's lacrosse team have received postseason honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today.

Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) headlined the group of award winners for the Gulls by earning CCC Defensive Player of the Year honors for the second time in her career.

Prisco is now the third student-athlete in program history to claim multiple CCC Defensive Player of the Year honors. She joins two-time honorees Bella Rino '19 (Northborough, Mass.) and Kelsey Barnes '14 (Mendham, N.J.) on the exclusive list.

As a program, Endicott has garnered the most CCC Defensive Player of the Year awards among the rest of the league with nine total since 2006.

Prisco also was named to the All-CCC First Team along with teammates Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) and Colleen Goodwin (Milford, Conn.).

Meanwhile, Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.) and Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) were selected to the All-CCC Second Team.

Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.), Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.), Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H.), Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.), and Sophie Spaulding (Scituate, Mass.) rounded out the list of award winners with All-CCC Third Team honors.


GABRIELLA PRISCO | GR. | M

In 17 games played this season, Prisco has compiled 42 ground balls, 67 draw controls, and 41 caused turnovers alongside 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points.

Prisco currently ranks second all-time in program history in draw controls (255), first in draw controls per game (3.92), second in caused turnovers (114), second in caused turnovers per game (1.75), third in ground balls (160), and third in ground balls per game (2.46).

Prisco also eclipsed the 100-career point plateau against Wentworth on April 27 with three goals and two helpers. Prisco has scored 52 goals and dished out 49 assists for 101 points in 65 career games.

This is Prisco's fourth career All-CCC honor (two first team, one second, one third).

MORGAN PIKE | SR. | A

Pike has compiled 47 goals and 10 assists for 57 points in 17 games played.

She has scored at least three goals in 11 games on the year, including a career-high five twice this season (three overall in her career: 3/6/20, 4/5/22, 4/22/22), and notched five or more points in four matchups.

This is Pike's second career All-CCC First Team award.

COLLEEN GOODWIN | SR. | D

In 17 games played, Goodwin has registered 39 ground balls, 14 draw controls, and 13 caused turnovers.

Goodwin has played a pivotal role in Endicott's defense which ranks among the league's best in the following categories: clears (1st, 259), caused turnovers (1st, 185), draw controls (3rd, 252), ground balls (3rd, 364), and goals against average (GAA, 2nd, 9.41).

This is Goodwin's second career All-CCC honor (one first, one second).


KATY GARVIN | JR. | A

Garvin has tallied 19 goals and 26 assists (4th in CCC) for 45 points in 16 games.

Garvin's play has been instrumental to the Gulls' attack which ranks third in goals (252), first in assists (149), and third in goals per game (14.82) in the CCC.

Individually, Garvin set career-highs for goals (5, 4/13/22), assists (7, 4/5/22), and points (8, 4/5/22) this season. She also has produced five or more points in five games on the year.

This is Garvin's first career All-CCC award.


LYDIA AKINS | SO. | G

In 17 games played, Akins has produced an 11-6 record, a 10.32 GAA, and 118 saves in 842:50 of action.

Akins has made 10 or more saves in four contests this season.

This is Akins' first career All-CCC honor.

KIANA NAPOLITANO | JR. | A

Napolitano has scored 30 goals and dished out 12 assists for 32 points in 17 games played.

Napolitano set her career-high for goals with five against Salve Regina on April 13 and has compiled three or more points in 10 contests on the year.

This is Napolitano's second career All-CCC award (one second, one third).

CCC RANKS: Points (16th), Goals (17th), Assists (17th), Shots (22nd, 60), Shots On Goal (15th, 52)


KATIE WAGNER | SR. | A

The main facilitator in Endicott's offense, Wagner has logged four goals and 33 assists (3rd in CCC) for 37 points in 17 games.

Wagner has dished out at least three assists in six matchups this year, highlighted by a season-best seven against Coast Guard on February 27.

Wagner's career stats include 27 goals and 77 assists for 104 points.

This is Wagner's second career All-CCC honor (one second, one third).


CARLY PIERCE | JR. | M

In 16 games this season, Pierce has registered 27 goals and three assists for 30 points.

She also has accumulated 20 ground balls, 35 draw controls and 10 turnovers in those contests.

This is Pierce's second career All-CCC Third Team award.


KATIE SCHENK | JR. | M

Schenk's stat line includes 30 goals, five assists, 35 points, 26 ground balls, 46 draw controls, and 13 caused turnovers in 16 games.

Schenk has set or tied numerous career-highs this season including points (5, 3/30/22), goals (4, three times), assists (2, 3/20/22), ground balls (5, 3/12/22), and caused turnovers (3, 3/12/22).

This is Schenk's second career All-CCC Third Team honor.


SOPHIE SPAULDING | SO. | D

Much like Goodwin, Spaulding has been a key cog in Endicott's defensive efforts this season.

As previously mentioned, and in large part to Spaulding's play, the Gulls rank among the league's best in the following categories: clears (1st, 259), caused turnovers (1st, 185), draw controls (3rd, 252), ground balls (3rd, 364), and GAA (2nd, 9.41).

This is Spaulding's first career All-CCC award.
