Women’s Lacrosse Upends Nichols On Senior Day, 18-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse defeated Nichols, 18-1, in conference action on Friday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to the game, Colleen Goodwin (Milford, Conn.), Tori Hurley (Glastonbury, Conn.), LZ Olney (Freeport, Maine), Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine), and Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.) were all honored for their contributions to the Endicott College community and the program as part of a Senior Day ceremony.

Pike paced all scorers with six points (5g, 1a), while Olney registered career-highs in goals (2), assists (3), and points (5) in the victory.

Hurley also compiled four points (1g, 3a), Wagner dished out a game-high four assists, and Goodwin scored her first and second career goals to highlight the rest of the conference matchup.

In goal, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) made one save in the first half to improve to 10-6 on the season. Kaitlin Bressette (Annadale, N.J.) also had two saves in the second stanza.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORES

  • Endicott is 21-0 all-time against Nichols.
  • Wagner notched her 100th career point on Pike's tally at 10:12 of the second quarter.
  • The Gulls picked up their fifth home win of the season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (10-6, 6-1 CCC) closes out its 2022 regular season at Wentworth on Wednesday, April 27 (4 PM). Nichols (11-6, 4-4 CCC) returns to action on Saturday, April 30 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament quarterfinal round. The postseason bracket will be announced by the conference office next week.
