BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott softball team (25-11, 15-3 CCC) is set to host Roger Williams, Suffolk, and Wentworth in the Bracket A portion of the 2022 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament, starting today. Here's a preview of this week's double-elimination tournament which is scheduled for May 5-8.
Thursday's portion of the tournament will feature the two-time defending champion Gulls vs. No. 8 Suffolk at 10 AM and No. 5 Wentworth vs. No. 4 Suffolk at 12:15 PM.
The winners of game one and game two will then face off 30 minutes after game two, while the losers of game one and game two will clash 30 minutes after the conclusion of game three.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls have earned the right to host the entirety of this year's tournament by winning the CCC Regular Season Championship.
- Endicott's all-time records against the Bracket A pool are as follows: Roger Williams (44-14), Suffolk (6-2), Wentworth (43-0-1).
- The Gulls are 12-2 at home this season.
- Away and neutral site records for the Bracket A pool programs are as follows: Roger Williams (4-10 away, 2-6 neutral), Suffolk (9-7, 8-6), Wentworth (8-10, 7-1).
- Endicott had eight student-athletes named to the CCC All-Conference Team earlier this week.
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of this week's championship tournament will be named the 2022 CCC Champion and earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2022 NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
