No. 11 Roller Hockey Completes Playoff Push With Dominant Weekend

OLD BETHPAGE, N.Y. — The No. 11 nationally ranked Endicott club roller hockey team outscored its opponents 29-5 over the weekend to secure a spot in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) Regionals in early March.

Endicott needed three wins (six points) to clinch its playoff spot and the Gulls did just that by thumping Saint Joseph’s twice (9-3, 12-1) and topping Drexel, 8-1.

As a team, Endicott saw 10 student-athletes factor into its 29 goals on the weekend, while the Gulls also dished out 34 assists. 

Corey Eisenband (Larchmont, N.Y.) paced the Blue and Green with 12 points (7g, 5a). Matt Kaski (Sandwich, Mass.) also added three goals and six assists for nine points, while Kevin Elliott (Plymouth, Mass.) and Kyle MacEachern (Attleboro, Mass.) both notched eight points (6g, 2a | 1g, 7a), respectively.

Meanwhile, Luke Jorgensen (Pawling, N.Y.) had seven points (5g, 2a) and Brian Harder (Delmar, N.Y.), Jacob Webster (Westbrook, Maine), and Daniel Rustani (Lynn, Mass.) all finished with four points apiece. Sean Roche (Waltham, Mass.) rounded out the list of scorers with two points (1g, 1a).

Senior goalie Matthew Klarnet (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) stopped 41 shots in three games played (all wins).

No. 11 Endicott (11-5-0-2) travels to Feasterville, Pa. to compete at regionals on Friday, March 2.
