No. 12 Nichols Bests Men’s Volleyball, 3-0

DUDLEY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team fell to No. 12 nationally ranked Nichols, 3-0, in conference action on Saturday night by scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-19.

Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) led the way for the Gulls with 12 kills on 19 swings (.526).

Dean Warner (Kinderhook, N.Y.) also chipped in with seven putaways and three digs.

Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) rounded out the list of highlights with 26 assists, two kills, one service ace, and a team-high six digs.

Tonight's match featured nine ties (3-4-2) and one lead change (1-0-0).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Nichols is 5-2 at home this season.
  • Endicott still holds the edge in the all-time series, 10-2.
  • The Bison have been ranked as high as No. 11 nationally this season, a program record (2/27/24).

Endicott (11-8, 4-1 NEVC) visits Rivier on Wednesday, March 27 at 7 PM. No. 12 Nichols (19-5, 5-0 NEVC) travels to SUNY Poly on Friday, March 29 at 6 PM.
