Oringer and Lowe Receive ECAC Player of the Week Awards

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Two Endicott spring student-athletes received additional recognition for their performance last week as baseball's junior second baseman Harry Oringer (Dartmouth, Mass.) and men's volleyball's senior outside hitter Brennan Lowe (Malibu, Calif.) were named Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Players of the Week after being awarded conference accolades on Monday.

Corvias ECAC DIII New England Baseball Co-Player of the Week – Harry Oringer

Oringer batted .524 (11-for-21), with one double, one triple, nine RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base in a 4-2 week for the Gulls against a slate of opponents that included five teams with more than 20 wins from a year ago, two of which collected 30 or more victories. Oringer hit safely in all six games, including a three-hit performance against William Paterson and two-hit efforts versus Ramapo, Benedictine and Elmhurst.  Oringer drove in at least one run in five games and collected multiple RBI in three contests.

Corvias ECAC DIII New England Men's Volleyball Player of the Week – Brennan Lowe

Lowe posted a .676 hitting percentage and averaged 3.43 kills per set in two NECC wins this week. In a three set victory over Elms, the senior tied his career-high of 12 kills with two service aces and four block assists. In a four set win over Regis, Lowe again posted 12 kills as well as a career-high .706 attack percentage.
