CCC MEN'S TENNIS WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's tennis student-athletes Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif) and Julian Richtarich (Westport, Conn.) were named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Rookie of the week, the conference office announced earlier today.

Rinkert helped the Gulls to a pair of victories over Curry this week. He went 4-0 as an individual, playing at the No. 1 spots in both singles and doubles. In doubles play, he took an 8-1 decision against the Colonels on Thursday (April 22) before earning an 8-0 win on Saturday (April 24). He was equally dominant in singles play winning both matches in straight sets. After taking the first set 6-4 on Thursday, Rinkert did not lose another game in the remaining three sets.

Meanwhile, Richtarich was a key contributor to Endicott's two victories over Curry this week. He competed in the No. 2 spot in both singles and doubles. In the first match on Thursday (April 22), Richtarich picked up an 8-4 win in doubles and a 6-1, 6-1 result in singles. He improved on that performance on Saturday (April 24) with an 8-1 doubles win and a 6-0, 6-2 decision in singles.

Endicott (5-4 3-1 CCC) will host Wentworth on Wednesday, April 28 at 3:30 PM.
