Men's Tennis Tops Curry, 8-1

MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team topped Curry College, 8-1, to earn their first Commonwealth Coast Conference win of the season, Saturday at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts. 

The Gulls jumped out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to two shutout doubles victories through Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.) and Julian Richtarich (Westport, Conn.) at No. 1, and Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) and Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) at No. 2

Meanwhile, in singles action, Nick lost just one game cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1, Rinkert pitched a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at No. 2, Richtarich secured a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3, and DiNardo earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (2-2, 1-1 CCC) will travel to Wentworth on Thursday, April 8 for a 3:30 PM matchup. Curry (0-3, 0-2 CCC) will host Gordon on Thursday, April 8 with first serve scheduled for 3:30 PM.
