2017 Men’s Tennis Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team begins its 2016-17 season this Sunday at Stonehill, on the road, at 7 PM. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): Last season, Endicott (12-8, 6-2 CCC in 2016) made its sixth straight appearance in the CCC semifinals, but behind the strong play of Matthew Doherty (Plymouth, Mass.), Nicholas Eherts (New Milford, Conn.), Sean McAndrews (Vineyard Haven, Mass.), Anthony Rinaldi (Attleboro Falls, Mass.), Christopher Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Mass.) and Keaton McCleary (Charlotte, N.C.) the Gulls will look to advance to the CCC Championship round this year.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR (SCHEDULE): The Gulls will host seven home matches in 2017 including tilts against Salem St. (3/20, 3:30 PM), Bentley (4/2, 11 AM), Curry (4/5, 3:30 PM), Salve Regina (4/8, 2 PM), UMass Boston (4/13), Gordon (4/22, 1 PM), and Wentworth (4/25, 3:30 PM).

In addition to their home matches, the Blue and Green will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina for a few spring break matches from March 11-17.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS (CCC POLL): The Endicott men's tennis team was picked to finish second in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll.
