BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College’s \#Dan Murray\# (Coventry, R.I.) was named to The Commonwealth Coast Conference All-TCCC First Team in singles play as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday afternoon. Murray and his doubles partner \#Devon Locke\# (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) also were named to the All-TCCC Second Team in doubles play.

\#Dan Murray\# went 12-5 this season at the No. 1 singles flight while also posting an impressive 8-3 mark in TCCC matches. Murray and \#Devon Locke\# earned Second Team doubles honors as the duo posted the same record, 12-5, at No. 1 doubles while going 7-4 in conference matches, both team-bests. Murray and Locke led the Gulls to a 9-8 overall record this season while also guiding EC to a 6-5 record in the TCCC and the \#6 seed in the upcoming TCCC Tournament.

Murray has been an All-TCCC selection throughout his four years at Endicott. In 2009, Murray was selected to both Second Team singles and doubles as a junior. In his sophomore campaign, Murray posted an 11-7 mark in singles play while notching a 10-8 record in doubles play to grab First Team honors in both singles and doubles. As a freshman, Murray was named to the Second Team in both singles and doubles.

Ten different institutions from The Commonwealth Coast Conference were represented on the 2010 All-TCCC Men’s Tennis Team. In addition to the all-conference team, four major individual award winners and the team sportsmanship award winner were also selected. Nichols’ freshman Justin DeLuca was named TCCC Player of the Year and TCCC Rookie of the Year, Eastern Nazarene College senior Tyler Restrick was named TCCC Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, Roger Williams’ Neil Caniga was honored as TCCC Coach of the Year and Gordon College was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award. Voting for the All-TCCC team and each of the major awards was conducted among TCCC men’s tennis coaches.
