BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott College upped its current winning streak to five-straight matches, as the Gulls downed conference opponent Curry College, 6-3, on Wednesday afternoon in Beverly, Massachusetts. With the win, Endicott improves to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

The Gulls were quick to jump out to a 2-0 lead as Dan Murray (Coventry, R.I.) and Scott Teller (Granville, N.Y.) downed opponents Justin Levine (Medfield, Mass.) and Brian Leahy (Reading, Mass.); while doubles team Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) and Gabriel Moraga (Marlborough, Mass.) defeated Charles Edlund (Hanover, Mass.) and Matt Lawrence (Rochester, Mass.) to take the first two doubles matches. The Gulls would drop the third and final doubles affair, as Marc Maloney (Feedinghills, Mass.) and Scott Kitchen (Norwell, Mass.) finished on the wrong end of an, 8-3, decision to Tyler Delmage (Woodstock, Vt.) and Nick Kszepka (Wilbraham, Mass.).

In singles play, Endicott won four-of-six en route to the 6-3 win. Murray and Locke were victorious in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots for the Blue and Green, while Moraga and Maloney notched wins on the backend of holes four and five. Curry's Brian Leahy scored a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win over Scott Teller, while John David-Moyer (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) took down senior Nate Buell (Westfield, Mass.), 6-3, 6-0.

Endicott is off to its best start in program history, currently boasting a 6-2 overall record. The Gulls will step outside of conference play on Thursday, as they host the University of Southern Maine at 3:30 p.m. on South Campus.
