All-Conference released, Hagarty Defensive Player of the Year
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior goalkeeper \#Eric Hagarty\# (Sudbury, Mass.) headlines a list of eight Gulls to earn TCCC All-Conference honors, as announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Friday. Hagarty has been named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, an honor he also received in 2008.

Along with the Defensive Player of the Year honors, Hagarty also earned First Team recognition for the third time in his career. Hagarty led the league in goals against average (5.12) and save percentage (.661), while compiling a 9-1 record in league play to give Endicott the \#1 seed for the conference tournament. Hagarty, a senior captain, is a two-time All-American and was a 2010 preseason All-American selection.

Joining Hagarty on the First Team is fellow co-captain \#Brad Lipkvich\# (Madison, Conn.) and junior midfielder \#Chris Cotter\# (Fairfield, Conn.). Lipkvich, also a preseason All-American, scored 17 goals in 10 conference games and added two assists for 19 points. Cotter was also strong against conference foes, scoring 11 times and dishing out eight helpers for an equally-impressive 19 total points.

Attackman \#Jack Curtis\# (Chelmsford, Mass.) and a pair of junior defensemen in \#Robert Crossett\# (Katonah, N.Y.) and \#Andrew Pochebit\# (Portland, Maine) earned Second Team honors. Curtis led the team in total points (39), with 20 of those coming in league play. He scored nine goals and had 11 assists in nine conference games played. Crossett had 48 groundballs in the regular season and forced 25 turnovers, with 21 and 18 of those coming in TCCC games. Pochebit had 42 groundballs and also caused 25 turnovers, grabbing 25 groundballs and forcing 14 giveaways in conference games.

Honorable Mention recognition was awarded to senior \#Jonathan Prentice\# (Chelmsford, Mass.) and junior \#Kevin Downes\# (Cheshire, Conn.). Prentice finished the regular season with a team-high in goals (29), scoring 17 in league games. All six of his assists this year came against a member of The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Downes earned Honorable Mention after grabbing 32 groundballs and causing six turnovers in his 10 league games, while finishing the season with 46 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers.
