MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott College men’s lacrosse team cruised to an 18-4 victory over host Curry College on Saturday afternoon in Milton, Mass. With the win, the Gulls improve to 10-7 overall and 9-1 in the TCCC, securing one of the top-three seeds in the upcoming TCCC Playoffs. With the setback, The Colonels fall to 8-8 overall and 4-6 in league games.

Endicott took an 8-3 halftime lead and never looked back as they outscored the Colonels 10-1 in the second-half for the 18-4 victory.

The Gulls outshot the Colonels 50-24 and had a 28-22 advantage in groundballs.

Senior \#Jonathan Prentice\# (Chelmsford, Mass.) and sophomore \#Colin Prescott\# (Norwalk, Conn.) led the Gulls with four goals and an assist. Freshman \#Brian Estes\# (Derry, N.H.) scored two goals while seven other Endicott players tallied in the win. Juniors \#Jack Curtis\# (Chelmsford, Mass.), \#Brendan McCarthy\# (Arlington, Vt.) and \#Kyle Jordan\# (Falmouth, Maine) all scored while \#Sam Ozycz\# (Chesire, Conn.), \#Jon Thanas\# (Cumberland, R.I.), \#Mike Morrill\# (Mansfield, Mass.) and freshman \#Connor McCormack\# (Norwalk, Conn.) rounded out the scoring.

\#Eric Hagarty\# (Sudbury, Mass.) picked up his 10th win of the season, making 13 saves in net.

The Colonels were lead by sophomore Sean Gallagher (Topsfield, Mass.) who had two goals while Russell Lanham (Silver Sring, Md.) and freshman Beau Kukura (Erie, Co.) each chipped in with one. Sophomore Michael Hibbard (Chelmsford, Mass.) played in net for the first three quarters and made 12 saves, allowing 16 goals. Gordon Holmes (Brookfield, Conn.) and freshman Timothy McGonagle (Concord, Mass.) split time in the fourth quarter, both making two saves and allowing one goal each.

Both teams await to see who they will play in the first round of the TCCC tournament. The Quarterfinals will be played on Saturday May 1 at the highest seed.
