MILTON, Mass. - Nick Cosco (Londonderry, N.H.) and Brandon Dube (Danvers, Mass.) each scored three goals as the Gulls fired past Curry College, 11-3, on Saturday afternoon in Milton, Massachusetts. The win locks-up the top-seed for the Blue and Green in the upcoming TCCC playoffs, where they will host Curry College on Tuesday.
A 1-1 first quarter eventually yielded an Endicott break-out second frame as the Gulls put together a 3-0 second stanza to break away from Curry. Brad Lipkvich (Madison, Conn.) scored back-to-back goals to break the game open. Brandon Dube closed the half with an unassisted tally to send Endicott into the intermission with a 4-1 lead.
Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, Mass.) buried consecutive tallies to start the second half, followed by a Dan Cain (Billerica, Mass.) goal off an assist by Dube to extend the EC advantage. From there, Endicott would cruise to the 11-3 win to secure the top spot in the conference tournament.
Brandon Dube ended the day with three goals and three assists for a game-high six points. Dan Cain had two goals and three helpers for five points, while Cosco had three goals.
The win secures Endicott the top-seed in the TCCC playoffs, as Endicott will host Curry on Tuesday afternoon. Game time is to be announced.
